Brand New is the Opiate of the Masses

  • Mar. 30th, 2008 at 2:19 PM

Brand New through a concert last night, something i had been looking forward to for weeks, months in actuality over 2 years since the last time i was supposed to see them.
I enjoy brand new, i love thier old shit the most and the new stuff too
what i really dont stand is how big of a bitch jesse lacey actually is. Telling the world that they dont like to play their old stuff becasue they dont relate to it anymore or because they hate it. But that is the music that made them famous it is the music that their fans still relate to. We hate that bitch as much as he does. Songs that come from the deepest pain are the best and everyone can realate to them which is why mix tape and seventy time 7 are  two of the greatest songs but when you tell me you hate to play them it causes me to question your integrity as a musician. i dont undrstand how you can turn your back on the songs that made you who you are. but w/e you still played a great show i was just looking for more.

Ok i started this for two reasons
1. I need a place to vent in this fucked up forever changing world. Society says everyone needs to vent and everyone uses a comp so why should i not use the internet. Besides my life is way to fucked up to not vent. So hopefully ppl will read this and not make the same mistakes i have, not done a lot of the things i have. And most of all compare my life to yours so you can feel better about yourself. I am a self loathing alcoholic (not confirmed but intrinsically known) who spends way too much time bitching out loud than writing it down.
2. i needed an account to read my exgf's lj...yeah its creepy but i like to think we are good friends...confirmation required
